I spent this past weekend at the SOCal Regional Crossfit Qualifiers of 2009. One word: Amazing.
Out in Tustin, it reached a grueling 90-100 degrees both Saturday and Sunday. And even more brutal were the workouts. I’d say this weekend was a burst of motivation. Watching men and women complete these workouts that put skill, fitness, stamina, endurance, and pain tolerance to the test combined with insane temperatures just goes to show how extraordinary people can be when they push themselves past pre-conceived limits.
Congratulations to Val and Dusty for completing all 3 workouts at amazing speed. And another congrats to Val, for placing 2nd overall for the women. WHO HOO! You are going to Crossfit Games!
