It’s official the new Westwood dodgeball season starts today. I am super excited. I’m looking forward to a new season, where hopefully, I’ll be a better player. Some of my goals: - To not play too carelessly, which usually ends with me getting out near the beginning of the game - To pay attention. I always get hit with a ball when I get distracted by someone’s argument or whatever other distractions may come. - To not get my balls caught. Grrrr. And maybe to catch some. - To always have fun no matter if my team is winning or losing. - To dance at some point during each game. 80’s music is awesome! - To dress up a little more. Getting into the spirit of it all is so much fun. I’m hoping my team colors are blue or green. Tonight is jamboree night, but starting next week we play individual teams. If you have the free time, come watch me play. Games are either 8 or 9pm on Tuesdays at the Westwood Rec Center (1350 S. Sepulveda Blvd. Los Angeles, CA 90025). You never know if you’ll end up wanting to join next season :)
