15 Facts (most people don’t know about me)
Bern tagged me on this awhile ago.
1. I go through these reading phases where I won’t read any books for awhile, and then all of a sudden, I’ll read 10 books in a month.
2. I love being alone in nature - Whether it’s out running on a deserted beach, standing in the middle of a forest, sitting along a riverbank, lying on a snow covered mountain, or staring at a star-filled sky. Nature never ceases to amaze me.
3. I can be extremely shy. Most people mistake this as me not wanting to socialize or me just being quiet or if you don’t know me - the first impression is I’m a bitch, eeek. Sometimes when I am uncomfortable or around a group of people I don’t know, this huge shyness comes over me. It’s not like I don’t want to talk; it’s that my social skills are inhibited.
4. I enjoy sharing experiences with others. That way when I look back, there is someone to relive the memory with me.
5. I consider my friends as the family I choose. When things don’t work out, I have a very hard time letting go.
6. I like to listen to music while dancing around my room. Party of one! Hahah
7. When I get really excited, I jump up and down and run around in circles. The energizer bunny may be a distant cousin of mine.
8. I like to pick at things that can sometimes be really gross like cutting my split ends, peeling my nail polish off, and picking at my scabs and blisters.
9. I admire the beauty of language. I sometimes wish I had the gift of tongue so that I could communicate more effectively with everyone in the world.
10. I feel like I can relate to animals. They may not be able to verbally communicate with you, but they are still communicating in their own unique way.
11. People say math is the universal language, but in my world food is the universal language.
12. I have never been on a date. Yes, like a date date.
13. Water is my favorite combination of elements. I love drinking tons and tons of it. Usually 12-14 glasses a day. Appreciating it in the form of a warm jacuzzi as well as falling on it in the form of a powdery snow.
14. I love the smell of household ammonia (you know, the stuff you clean bathrooms with). I think the smell just reminds me of cleanliness.
15. I’m a learning junky. I take classes for fun. I will be a student for life. And hopefully, a teacher at some point too.
