Pasadena Racing
Pasadena has decided to join in on the list of cities with large races. On November 16, 2008, Pasadena will host it’s first marathon, along with the half marathon, 5k (competitive), fun run/walk 5k (non-competitive), and bike tour. I will be running the half marathon.
My first half marathon was the Huntington Beach Surf City Half Marathon, which occurred on a day that happened to be pouring rain with gusty winds. I was drenched and freezing, and I must say I’ve never loved a trash bag like I did that day. During and after the race, I clung to that trash bag like it was my childhood blankey. I have high hopes that the Pasadena race will have a more reasonable weather forecast…
